Change drive letter in Windows for devices that do not appear in Disk Management

- Start, Run, Regedit.
- Find (ctrl-F) HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\MountedDevices
- Right mouse click on \DosDevices\X: in the right pane
- (where X is the drive letter you want to change)
- Left click on Rename
- Replace the letter ONLY with the letter you'd like the drive to be, making sure that no other drives use this letter.
- Be sure to enter the new letter in CAPS.
- Hit ENTER
- Close Regedit and Restart the computer
